The Babfor Project Ways

Now! & Here!
We resolve to Babfor (direct Korean translation is to scoop rice) until there are no more hungry souls in the world!

First, the miracle of Five Loaves and Two Fish...

We resolve to Babfor (direct Korean translation is to scoop rice) until there are no more hungry souls in the world!
First, the miracle of Five Loaves and Two Fish...
This is the story of how our Lord, Jesus Christ, once fed a mass of 5,000 hungry people with just a basket of five loaves of bread and two fish.
He praised God and gave thanks for the basket;
He broke the bread and handed them out to all the people who came to listen to his Word.
Miraculously, the basket had enough to feed the entire crowd, and even had several left over baskets full of bread and fish.
The Babfor Project first started with a penniless effort in Cheongryangri, where meals were prepared and served to all the hungry people who gathered there.
One bread by one bread, one fish by one fish, the Babfor Project today feeds over 5,500 starving children and adults all over the world.
It is the modern version of the Five Loaves Two Fish miracle.
With your donations, we can spread more joy and share more love to many starving brothers and sisters that are still out there.
With your donations, we can take a step closer to ending hunger all across the globe.
So, please, participate in feeding your hungry neighbors by giving generously.

Second, the mentality of Ten Spoonfuls Make a Bowl...

The Babfor Project has the mentality of the old proverb, "Ten spoonfuls make a bowl."
This means a spoonful of rice of rice may be one bite to a person, but when multiple spoonfuls are combined, it makes a bowl of rice that can be shared by many.
By combining individual "spoonfuls," we can build an everlasting bowl of rice that will feed the hungry all over the world.
Your "spoon" can be a spoonful of rice, a spoonful of time, or a spoonful of labor.
Generous donations are greatly appreciated, but you can participate in this project in other ways such as donating your time to cook and prepare meals or to serve and volunteer at the center.
We await your participation in giving your "spoonful" to the community.

Third, to eat the Bread of Life and become the Bread of Life...

Even a single drop of water contains the blessings of the World.
Even a single grain of rice contains sweat and labor of Humanity.
Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, came to this world as the Living Bread
So that we may feast on it, and become Living Bread ourselves,
And live the Righteous life in diversity.
We Thank the Lord for the food He has blessed us with,
And Pray that we live to Serve and Love our Neighbors
With pure hearts and bright smiles, with Faith and Righteousness.
In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
