Nurturing

DAIL Children's Home is a place where Korean/Chinese-Korean orphans grow up in an environment filled with love and nurturing.
The children are our sons and our daughters in our family of love, and we raise them with kindness and compassion so that they can grow up to be the future leaders and servants of China and Asia.

Child Sponsorship

Most children are admitted into school before third grade and receive free education until their middle school.
The children receive parental support until high school, and only the children who get accepted into universities receive additional support from the Chinese government.
However, vocational schools are more expensive there than in Korea, so the Korean and Chinese-Korean students with financial difficulties give up their dreams of attending high school and make their living through part-time jobs.
Please participate in DAIL Child Sponsorship to help send a child through high school so that he/she may grow their dreams and have the opportunity to achieve those dreams.

Scholarship

- SAMSUNG Dream Scholarship Foundation Mentoring Program

The education program in Hunchun provides subsidies until Middle School, but the general cost to attend schools (such as school supplies, books, etc) is a heavy burden to many families.
The SAMSUNG Dream Scholarship Foundation Mentoring Program provides mentors to increase educational opportunities for children in those difficult situations.
Through this program, we aim to strengthen their competency, to help them discover their talents through various volunteer activities, and to provide emotional support and a special friendship.

- Park Sang-Won Library

For DAIL Children's Home's 10th Year Anniversary, ambassador Sang-Won Park sponsored the construction of Park Sang-Won Library.
Today, the children enjoy the many books that the library offers, and their dreams grow larger and larger each day. The library is also the gathering center for the town's children to learn, to love, and to grow.

Elementary Establishment in North Korea

The DAIL Children's Home is located in Milkanghyang, Hunchun City, China.
It first started by providing China's starving orphans the basic survival skills, such as planting and harvesting rice and other crops.
Later, the DAIL Community came into contact with several Chinese-Korean orphans near Yunbian region (Chosunjok Borough) and adopted 12 orphans to live and work at the farm near the Tumen River.
That was the large stepping stone for the DAIL Community of China. For ten years, the orphans have practiced and built up their farming and survival skills.
Now, as DAIL Community's proud members, they offer their services to their fellow brothers and sisters in North Korea, as well as to the impoverished all over Asia.
